The Story Begins

Born in 1974 in Nancy, France, Yann is fueled by a relentless drive for excellence. He continues to push boundaries, redefining the entertainment landscape and setting new standards in the nightlife industry. Under his leadership, The Night League has established itself as a global powerhouse, creating exceptional events that draw over 2 million visitors each year. Yann's vision is taking the future of nightlife to new heights, both locally and internationally.

Yann's journey into nightlife began in the early 1990's with rave parties in France and Belgium. After studying law, he moved to Spain in 1994 to study tourism in Barcelona. He rapidly immersed himself in the city's lively party scene and dedicated his time to learning all aspects of nightlife, from lighting and sound to marketing and guest management.

Starting his career as a waiter, Yann worked his way up, before opening his first bar and music venue. He began organising and promoting afterparties and eventually launched his own nightclubs and brands, quickly gaining recognition. These ventures paved the way for his biggest move: launching The Night League in 2001, an entertainment company dedicated to creating and managing top-tier events and venues.

Creating Ushuaïa Ibiza

In 2008, Yann moved to Ibiza and saw an opportunity for a new type of daytime club experience. He found a secluded spot in Playa d'en Bossa that reminded him of Ushuaïa, a remote location known as "the end of the world". Drawing from this inspiration, he launched the Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Club.

Yann's idea was to create a daytime clubbing experience that bridged the gap between generations. Attendees could enjoy headline acts in the sunshine and still finish their night before midnight. This innovative concept transformed Ibiza's club scene with its open-air setting, unique production, and top-notch service, attracting globally renowned DJs and a diverse crowd.

In 2011, Yann partnered with Fiesta Hotels & Resorts to launch the Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel. The venue combined luxury stays with world-class music events, creating what Yann called an "amusement park for adults". With support from his brother Romain, founder of High Scream, and his growing team, the hotel quickly set new standards for Ibiza nightlife, earning top awards, including the International Nightlife Association's #1 spot in 2015.

Hï Ibiza - #1 Club in the World

In 2017, Yann and his team at The Night League changed the clubbing world again with the opening of Hï Ibiza. The cutting-edge multi-room venue united the worlds of music, art, design and technology with unprecedented sound, service and experience, now featuring top DJs like Black Coffee, HUGEL, Joseph Capriati, The Martinez Brothers and more. Hï Ibiza ranked as the No.1 Club in the World by DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs poll in 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025, becoming the first venue in history to win the accolade in four consecutive years, boosting Yann's reputation as a top industry leader.

Global Nightlife Expansion

Beyond Ibiza, The Night League's reach continues to grow. In 2022, Yann and his partners at Fiesta Hotels & Resorts launched Ushuaïa Entertainment, aiming for local and international growth. This partnership marks a new era of expansion. In 2024, The Night League launched the acclaimed Ushuaïa Dubai Harbour Experience, which has attracted over 90,000 people in its debut season over seven sold-out spectaculars.

Welcome to the [UNVRS]

The growth continued in 2025 with the launch of The Night League's most ambitious project to date, [UNVRS] (pronounced "Universe"). This definitive new venue has elevated Ibiza's nightlife scene and set a new standard for music entertainment worldwide. Combining the high-end service, luxury and attention to detail of a nightclub with the infrastructure, scale and spectacle of arena events. This new destination has both transformed and reinvented a former iconic Ibiza venue into the world's most technologically advanced nightclub, hosting residencies from Anyma, Carl Cox, FISHER, David Guetta and more of the most in-demand artists in electronic music.
